One Behavior That Will Enhance All Your Relationships

And advice so you can DO, BE, CREATE it to impact your world

Are you someone who has been trying to think, work, and would love to live a better life? Do you value your time, your efforts and your relationships? If so . . . keep reading.

“Lost Time Is Never Found Again.” ~ Ben Franklin

According to a new study, in Behavioral Science, nothing can impact your overall use of time more than the time you rise and shine. The research also revealed it enhances a persons overall mental and physical health. It turns out there’s truth in the metaphor: “The early bird gets the worm,” and a lot more.

The study found people who are consistent early risers positioned themselves for better relationships and had more meaningful careers. Often being known for peak performance, by being more proactive, they also tend to possess a higher skill level for anticipating pitfalls. Additional character traits uncommon to their night owl counterparts: more optimistic, agreeable and consistent. All are linked to the fact they give themselves more quality time in their morning routine.

As a morning person myself, for over 25 years, I can sanction this research to be true. That is also how many years ago I threw out my alarm clock and haven’t used one since! Why? I know time is a moving energy that propels my life forward. Time creates the momentum I need to deliver undeniable results in my life. And creating more of it each day is a powerful gift.

My secret…….

3 Organizing Principles & “Why”. Leverage to Master Your Time

1. “No one gets to waste my time!” I cannot get it back.
2. “I don’t chit chat, no idle conversations”. My time is valuable
3. “Time learning & growing is priceless”. More time means more me.

It was in the early 90’s, when I was working towards owning my destiny, a voice said to me “alarm clocks are for people who don’t know where they are going in life.” That ignited my passion to become a morning person. I realized the more time I had, the sooner I would prevail on my hopes and dreams. Although, I knew the real, sustainable, change I was working on wouldn’t happen overnight. I became focused on the use of my time and disciplined on who, what, where and when I used it. I soon started experiencing why time was so powerful and how I gained momentum from it with each new day. To this day I still look forward to the essence of a new day. I love the private victories I create, time and time again, by getting up before dawn.

What would your life be like if you had 2 or even 3 more hours in a day? Look around and you will see no one is stopping you. It’s been said your inner spirt knows if you want more time. For me – something, someone, God, reached down inside of me and said “You want more time? Then I need more you!”

So, if individuals who are happier and healthier are morning people – why not give it a try? Why not get up early, be a bad ass morning machine – and keep it going!

Stayed tuned! And never stop learning and growing!

Respectfully, Ida
