Today's Mental Toughness

  • "In order to make the "Main Event' in your life you need mental toughness, - It will keep you from from being caught up in the mundane".~Ida

You Are Either IN or You're OUT – Right?

Perhaps you feel that most days, around most people, you're part of something or you're not. You're either in or out, right or wrong and feeling great about something or feeling bad.

It seems that today's realities require you to have the focus and emotional fitness to build your fulfillment. What are you hopes, your dreams? What is your destiny? Do you feel you have a compelling future? Do you know where you're going and how to get there? Are you tee'ing yourself up for success?

The first tool you need is to understand how to improve your mental and emotional state, and your total physiology – which can change from moment to moment, place to place, tee box to green. Emotion creates motion, learn to manage your state and bust a move, and this will also change your thought process instantly.

Also stop and recognize the use of language in your social and professional life situations. Linguistics can be a form of offense or defense. The discipline of positive intent can first be recognized in our spoken words to each other and the utilization of the language patterns. These are among the first things you can use to associate to your environments. Do you sound like those around you? What content and intentions come from your conversations with others? What are your incantations?

The utilization of this emotional discipline can help you feel and understand your intentions, and it will also help you appreciate the real discipline of being yourself. The future belongs to the congruent and those who understand mental toughness, you must know the mindset of a champion and the power of incantations.

How can you experience life's greatest blessings now? You must be safe to be around and you should only want to be around those with whom you feel safe to be yourself. Heartfelt honesty is a commitment to expressing yourself in the moment. Capture those moments, be in the moment and be on. Up time, is real time – and a real you.

And then, you must keep it going.

  • Dear Ida, I want to thank-you for your creation of and devotion to our Edge group. In less than a year's time, I transformed my business. You taught me how to keep focused at all times - regardless of the activities. I've learned that mental toughness, strong negotiation skills, follow-through and abiding by the highest ethical standards are qualities that clients expect. I looked so forward to our meetings every Wednesday, and I can't thank-you enough for being a there for me.
